The Army Corps of Engineers (COE) was looking for a way to inform both Army and civilian personnel of new and upcoming employment positions.

Utilizing its database and web site design expertise, SMART developed a web site that specialized in providing the registrants with up to date job vacancy announcements. This completely automated web based application was designed to free the user from continuously monitoring the Army CPOL vacancy announcement website. Users could now register just once, and wait for appropriate job notifications to be sent to them via e-mail based on their profile. This helped the Corps of Engineers to save time and money and also considerably reduce the paper trails and phone calls.
